Windows Phone Update 3 (GDR3) Preview for Developers
Windows Phone Update 3 or originally named as GDR3 which is expected to roll out next year for the windows phones world wide would be a major update for windows phone 8 but we have to wait a lot for it. But with a few steps you could experience it right now on your windows phone.
There are to ways to install the update preview
Microsoft officially Gives early access to the developers of Windows store.
but you first have to register to the store by paying $19 USD and publishing some apps
But there is a simpler way
An official app designing online software is there - The "App Studio"

You just have to register yourself there and there is no need of creating or publishing any app.
After registering you just have to download the app - "Preview For Developers"
And there you go follow the instruction given in the app and then check for the updates and you will get one !!! :)
